In vibrated fields, wheat and other cereals such as spelt, barley and oats are grown locally by experienced farmers who do not use any chemicals during the entire process, from sowing to harvesting. These cereals are then stone-ground in a mill in the valley, producing excellent semi-wholemeal wheat, spelt and multigrain flours that can be used to prepare all baked goods. Thus the bread, focaccia, pizzas, cakes, biscuits and various jams, fruit and vegetables that are used in most of the daily meals at the Cabella International School are provided by Casa Madre.<\/p>\n
